In school , each class has chose a decade of Queen Elizabeth's reign to study, 1950 to the present day.We would welcome any information from relatives about their life events which occured during this period of time. If you know anyone who would come into school to share their experiences with us , please contact school as soon as possible.
28th May - 1st June We are planning a series of assemblies to share and show our work, which we will invite parents and grandparents to ( more details to follow).
Friday 1st June ( weather permitting) will be our Diamond Jubilee Street Party, we would welcome parents to join us to celebrate.
Do you know of any 'traditional' sports and games? Oranges and lemons? Farmer's in the den? Come and teach us your favourites . We can then play them on the afternoons of our Jubilee Activity Week.
We are hoping to have a fantastic week in school and any help will be appreciated.
 | The Olympic torch will be passing through Wetherby on Tuesday 19th June. The torch is not directly passing the school so we are planning to walk to where we can see it! If you would like to join us then please keep the date free, more details May Newsletter. |
