| To round off 2011 our school councillors hosted a Deighton's got talent show. Auditions were held and a number of acts went to the live whole school final ! Our judges were led by Mr King ( Chair of Govenors) and 2 school council members. We were entertained by song, guitar, acrobatics and dance. Well done to all who took part and performed and all those school council members who organised a brilliant show ( including Mrs Owen and Mrs Brady ) . |

Year two assembly photographs meet Fiercey the Tiger !
 Year 6's last day at primary school ended with the releasing of the balloons for the balloon race. The clouds couldn't fade this wonderful spectacle.  |   |
 | A sunny July day and we held our whole school picnic ! Dress ' summer beach wear ' Children,Staff, Parents, Grandparents and Friends of the school all sat on the field, enjoyed a picnic and watched the staff v children cricket match. Prizes were given to the best dressed!  |
