 Football World Cup  :-

This next half term our work will be based on a world cup theme.

Homework : for the next few weeks we would like your child and family to spend some time on any feature relating to the football world cup in South Africa. This could include

• animals in South Africa
• South African culture
• location of South Africa including cities, rivers, mountains etc
• English football team
• changes made to footballs used in World Cups
• make a papier mache football

School Green Day - Thursday 10th June 2010

The fantastic amount of £245.23  was raised  at the above event. This money is to be used on developing the "environmental area" . Thank you all for your support.

Year 1 - will be making a ball sculpture out of any old footballs/balls. If you have any balls at home, that are no longer wanted, PLEASE can your child bring them into school. This is an on going activity so any unwanted footballs/balls will be greatfully received. Many Thanks.

REMINDER

Please can you make sure that your child has his/her games/PE clothing.

Quite a few children are forgetting to bring them in at the moment.

Wed - Outdoor Games 

Your child will need a Tee-shirt, shorts, trainers and socks.  They will also need a warm jumper and jogging bottoms
