We will be continuing our topic of the seaside this term.
In Geography we will be investiagting the seaside. We will find seaside places on a map and discuss features such as cliffs and souvenir shops and compare to Wetherby's features.
In History we will compare seaside pictures past and present. Why was Grace Darling an important person in the past?
In Art and DT we will be creating seaside pictures, a lighthouse and rescue boats and helicopters.
We will be finding out about the amazing crew of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and how they go about the rescue process with their various lifeboats and helicopters. We will read real-life rescue stories and be writing some of our own.
